Oct. 19th, 2009 07:06 pm- 16:26 My mom's awake, not that it matters since she only house a couple of 20's and a 100 dollar bill. :/ #
- 18:01 It's been 2 days since my sister brought Boba home. Dogs are still freaking out over her, especially Charlie who will not stop staring. #
- 18:02 The cats are more calm about it. Baby doesn't really like or want to look at the bunny much. Pyscho on the other hand wants her SO bad. lol #
- 18:04 She's already jumped in Boba's cage twice now. Not that she did anything, she just wants to smell/play with the bunny. #
- 00:17 Argh, Vampire Diaries is pissing me off. It's like another version of Twilight only with a different plot. D: #
- 00:21 Now everyone is gooing to assume Vampire Diaries ripped off Twilight even though the books were written BEFORE Twilight. :/ #
- 00:23 I wish L.J. Smith was more involved with the TV show. Maybe then it would be more loyal to the books. #
- 00:27 I mean it wouldn't have to follow the book to a T, but it would be nice for major plot points and characterizations to stay the same. #
- 01:46 Rereading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I just love that book, I'm so glad I picked it up on impulse. :D #
- 01:55 I love a lot of things about it. The use of POV so you get a glimpse into BOTH Sam and Grace's heads, repitition of words/sentences... #
- 01:58 ...the use of poetry, imagery, and how Stiefvater was able to convey the human mind with use of disjointed thoughts/sentences. #
- 02:01 As soon as I pay off my fines I'm going to check out Maggie Stiefvater's other books. If they're anything like Shiver I want to read them. #
- 02:03 Really though, if anyone who is following me likes to read fantasy/romance books you need tomread Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. <3 #
- 02:05 It's the perfect winter book, and would be a great Christmas present for those who love books. :D #
